Just a few of the excursions available from Hammamet:

Tunis/Carthage/Sidi Bou Said/Bardo – (1 day, lunch included). A chance to see the Roman ruins at Carthage, stroll the winding hillside streets of the picturesque town of Sidi Bou Said, see the magnificent collection of Roman mosaics at the Bardo Museum and have some free time to look around Tunis’s World Heritage Medina.

Cap Bon – (1 day, lunch included). Here you will explore the beautiful region of Cap Bon, the ‘garden of Tunisia’, with its orchards and vineyards, unspoilt coastline, a unique Phoenician archaeological site at Kerkouane and the Roman caves at El Haouaria.

Dougga – (1 day, lunch included). Dougga is probably the best Roman site in Tunisia with a spectacular setting in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains.

Sahara Explorer – (2 days, meals and overnight stay included). An unforgettable trip to the beautiful South of Tunisia with an opportunity to visit a troglodyte dwelling in Matmata, cross the enormous Chott El Jerid salt lake and overnight in a hotel right on the edge of the Sahara. There is also a jeep ride to the mountain oases and a visit to the holy city of Kairouan.

Shaka Evening – a chance to combine a visit to Friguia Animal Park with an evening of superb entertainment (Zulu and Tunisian music & dance) and great food (including wine).

Dougga/Bulla Regia – (1 day, lunch included). Two fascinating and completely different Roman sites In the hills above the Medjerba valley, just north of Jendouba sits Bulla Regia. What distinguishes it from other Roman sites are its underground villas. The Romans built their homes partly underground to protect themselves from the summer heat
